Marissa P. Ramos Memorial Scholarship

Stoughton Youth Soccer was so very fortunate to have had Marissa as an active member of the league. All who knew Marissa understood of her love for soccer. Marissa participated in both the in-house and travel leagues, refereed, and was a youth coach until her health required her to stop at the age of 15. That however, did not stop Marissa's commitment to the league. She continued to volunteer at the fields, from field lining to working concession to SYSL night at the REVS, Marissa was there, helping in any way she could. She was an inspiration to all and showed that, although she couldn't play, she didn't walk away from soccer and was willing to give her time to benefit others.Tragically Marissa passed away at the age of 17 due to a heart condition. It is with honor that we present the Stoughton Youth Soccer Marissa Paige Ramos Memorial Scholarship.
